Faith Evans – Domestic Violence Case Against Singer Dropped, Stevie J Reportedly Refused To Testify

Update #2 (June 15th): Faith Evans no longer has a domestic violence case looming over her. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office reportedly won’t be prosecuting the “Love Like This” singer thanks to her husband of two years and the alleged victim, Stevie J. According to reporters, the mega-producer has refused to testify against her, closing out the case entirely.

Original Story: Did things get physical between Faith Evans and Stevie J?

According to new reports, the singer was arrested earlier this week for allegedly attacking her husband.

Reportedly, police were called to their home in L.A. and upon their arrival, allegedly saw that Stevie J had marks and scratches on his face. The two are said to have gotten into an ugly screaming match, but it’s not clear what it was about.

Still, Faith Evans was arrested for domestic violence, a felony, and was released on bond hours later.

The “Love & Hip Hop” stars have stayed quiet about the alleged altercation on social media.

Interestingly enough, their controversial relationship has stayed out of the spotlight since rumors swirled in June 2019 that there were issues between them.

Just ahead of their one-year anniversary, they were no longer following each other on social media.

At the same time, Stevie J shared a few cryptic tweets on Twitter. They read,

“All that glitters ain’t gold. Ones insecurities can damage them. Drunk people always speak their truth…”

Their marriage has been receiving a few side-eyes since they shocked the world with news they were husband and wife.
Stevie J’s ex, and mother of his youngest daughter Bonnie Bella, even accused him of asking him to marry her just days before.

What are your thoughts on Faith Evans possibly assaulting Stevie J? Let us know in the comments.
