Boosie BadAzz Defends Asking Donald Trump For Pardon – Says He Also Asked Kamala Harris
Rapper Boosie BadAzz is doubling down after facing backlash for publicly asking Donald Trump for a presidential pardon.
In a fiery social media post, the Louisiana rapper said he was stunned by the criticism, arguing that he previously asked Kamala Harris for the same help multiple times on Twitter. According to Boosie, the outrage over his request says more about his critics than it does about him.
“I can’t believe people mad at me for asking Trump for a pardon when I asked Kamala several times,” he wrote, before listing what he believes the backlash means — claiming critics are racist, want him locked up, or are jealous of his success.
Boosie also referenced Joe Biden in the post, questioning why people weren’t as vocal when the president reportedly pardoned his son after previously suggesting he would not. The rapper argued that he and Biden’s son allegedly faced similar charges.
The outspoken artist continued his rant by mocking critics who took issue with him asking for clemency, suggesting anyone attacking him must want to see him behind bars. “Who wants to go to jail?” he added while defending his decision to seek a pardon.
Boosie ended the message with a blunt declaration that if critics expect him to sit quietly and accept prison time, they’re mistaken — making it clear he plans to keep pushing for a pardon however he can.
