Ben Affleck Reportedly Signs Over Entire $52 Million Mansion Stake To Jennifer Lopez For Free
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s Beverly Hills mansion saga may have taken a major turn.
According to TMZ, the former couple modified their property settlement agreement to reflect a “transfer of property among spouses,” with sources telling the outlet that Affleck handed over his entire interest in the sprawling estate to Lopez at no cost. While the filing reportedly does not spell out the exact mechanics of the transfer, TMZ says the result is that Lopez now has Ben’s full stake in the home.
The estate was originally purchased in May 2023 for $60,850,000 in cash, and the outlet reports the pair later poured millions more into upgrades and improvements. The mansion has reportedly been on the market publicly since July 2024, one month before Lopez filed for divorce, but has yet to attract a buyer.
The home was first listed at $68 million before the price was later reduced to $52 million in September, still without a sale. TMZ also reports Lopez has continued living in the property while renovating another home she recently purchased.
As for why Affleck may have been comfortable walking away from such a massive asset, TMZ notes he recently sold his A.I. company, InterPositive, to Netflix for a reported $600 million. With Lopez now reportedly holding the full stake, she could stand to benefit once the mansion finally sells.
