Prayers Up! Actress Christina Applegate Reportedly Hospitalized Weeks After Opening Up About Severe MS Symptoms
Actress Christina Applegate has been hospitalized in Los Angeles, raising concern among fans as she continues her ongoing battle with multiple sclerosis (MS).
According to sources, Applegate was admitted in late March, though the specific reason for her hospitalization has not been publicly confirmed. The actress was diagnosed with MS in June 2021, but it remains unclear whether her current condition is related to the disease.
The update comes shortly after her “MeSsy” podcast co-host, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, announced on March 31 that the show would be taking a temporary hiatus while both women focus on their respective book tours. Sigler has also lived with relapsing MS for over two decades.
In a statement to TMZ, Applegate’s representative said, “I have no comment whether she is in the hospital or what her medical treatments are. She’s had a long history of complicated medical conditions that she has been refreshingly open about, as evidenced in her memoir and on her podcast.”
In her recently released memoir, “You With the Sad Eyes,” Applegate shared the daily challenges of living with MS, writing, “When I wake up, I often can’t get my arm to move far enough to grab the cup of water by my bed or my phone from its charger.”
She also noted the illness leaves her prone to infections, often requiring emergency medical care.
Prayers to Christina on her recovery??
