Carmen Bryan Reveals Nas Is Bipolar, May Suffer From Paranoid Schizophrenia
Last week, we shared some unpleasant drama involving rapper Nas (Nasir Jones) and Carmen Bryan, the mother of his 19-year-old daughter, Destiny. In short, Carmen filed legal documents against the rapper, claiming that he owed more than $11,000 in back child support.
In the documents, Carmen refers to Nas as a “repeat criminal non supporter.” She also claims that Nas has intentionally refused to pay college tuition and medical expenses for their daughter. To date, Nas has yet to respond to these claims. On the contrary, Carmen is speaking out, giving some alleged insight on the condition of her child’s father. In an interview with Mara the Socialite, she shares that she thinks he suffers from mental illness. She also explains what motivated her to seek legal counsel for back child support issues. ON THE MENTAL ISSUES SHE FEELS ARE PRESENT IN NAS:
Well first off, let me just say my experiences with Nas, my dealings with Nas, and my research all lead me to believe that he does suffer from bipolarism and he may be a paranoid schizophrenic.

I wonder how well was his daughter was progressing in school. Was she clowning around and partying? Did he abruptly discontinue paying her tuition because of her grades and lack of motivation? Is there something she is not telling us? I know quite of few “children” who are in college because their foot is halfway in adulthood, but everything is still taken care of by the parents, but they are blowing it as far as their studies is concerned. I’m just curious.
And I refuse to even entertain her mental health assessment of Nas…I’ll wait on someone else with more authority to say something.
