Faith Evans, Demetria McKinney, V. Bozeman, Ray Lewis & More At African American Festival [Photos]
This past weekend, Baltimore held its annual African American Festival at the Camden Yards Sports and Entertainment Complex on Saturday, June 20th and Sunday, June 21st. Vendors and sponsors included: Black Enterprise, Pepsico, Shop Rite, State Farm, Toyota, Prudential, Charm TV, Xfinity, Under Armour, Verizon, BGE, CareFirst, City of Baltimore, Covergirl, Geico, MD Lottery, Visit Baltimore and more.
Former Raven Torrey Smith, producer Sidra Smith, television host Tai Beauchamp, speaker Jewel Tankard, Beverly Johnson, actor Dondre Whitfield and more participated in Black Enterprise’s Empowerment Zone and Prudential panels.
The main stage, hosted by comedian Chris Spencer, singer Brave Williams and publisher Jamie Foster Brown, welcomed performances by “Empire’s” Yazz and V. Bozeman, Eric Roberson, SWV, Faith Evans and Doug E. Fresh. Former Ravens LB Ray Lewis delivered a powerful message to the city as well.
Will Downing, Brotherly Love, Demetria McKinney and Stephanie Mills closed out the weekend leaving our festival attendees energized and full of amazing music to start off their work week.
