(EXCLUSIVE) Young Jeezy Scores Legal Victory in Lawsuit Accusing Him of Stealing Musicians Song

theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports, Young Jeezy scored a legal victory in the lawsuit accusing him of stealing an unknown musicians song with a federal court judge throwing the entire case out — all because the man couldn’t track down the rapper to serve him legal papers.

A hip hop musician named Christopher Syrrakos filed a federal lawsuit against Young Jeezy, Def Jam Records and Universal Music last year.

The man explained that he is a musician and record producer based in Wisconsin. He says he created a song entitled “13 Shots” and released it in 2009 on his album “Big Chris Uncut.” Syrrakos said he had the song copyrighted in 2014.

The lawsuit said that in May 2014, Young Jeezy released his hit song “Me Ok” as the first single from his album “Seen it All: The Autobiography” … which debuted at number 2 on the Billboard 200 chart with sales of 121K.

The musician accused Jeezy of stealing his song “13 Shots” and using it in his hit song. He claimed that the rapper never obtained permission or authorization to use his music.

Syrrakos filed suit against Jeezy and his record labels for copyright infringement and demanded a permanent injunction against the rappers album was continuing to be sold along with unspecified monetary damages.
