Kelly Rowland & Meagan Good to Star In Lifetime Movie ‘The 10th Date’
Last week, we reported news on the new Lifetime movie, ‘The 10th Date‘. Some of the cast was spotted at a table reading and excitedly showed a few social media posts of them prepping for the new made for TV film.
And now, new deets have been released. The two-hour romantic comedy, which follows four friends at different life stages in their search for love, has been green-lit. The cast includes Destiny’s Child member Kelly Rowland, “UnReal’s” Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman, “So You Think You Can Dance” host Cat Deeley, Grammy-nominated singer Keri Hilson, Kellee Stewart (“The Soul Man”), Brandon T. Jackson (“Tropic Thunder”) and Meagan Good (“Think Like a Man Too”). Check out the description:
“The 10th Date” centers around friends Gabby (Good), Nell (Stewart), Billie (Hilson) and Margot (Rowland) who balance their dating life alongside their career ambitions at an upscale website in Los Angeles, under the watchful eye of their editor, Maureen (Deeley). Inspired by the site’s relationship advice column to find “the one,” Gabby and Nell embark on their own journeys towards the elusive “10th date,” the Holy Grail in the dating world when women believe men are finally committed. As the ladies navigate the ups and downs of modern dating, romance, exes and friendships, they learn what they really want out of life and love. Jackson stars as Dante, a creative director at the site, and Bowyer-Chapman is Freddy, Nell’s bisexual boyfriend.
The film will premiere in 2017.
