Steve Harvey Responds To Ex Wife’s Lawsuit
theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports, Steve Harvey has responded to the recent lawsuit filed by his ex wife, Mary Shackelford. His attorney exclusively tells us,
Mr. Harvey vehemently denies any allegations set forth in the lawsuit. The Complaint is meritless, frivolous and the allegations are completely false. We will vigorously defend/counterclaim against the Complaint.
As previously reported, Mary filed a lawsuit against the comedian turned talk show host, claiming she suffered from “prolonged torture with the infliction of severe mental pain and suffering,” resulting in a suicide attempt “by self-medicating [in] an effort to stop the pain.”

She’s suing for Steve for child endangerment, torture, conspiracy against rights, kidnapping, murder, breach of contract and intentional infliction of emotional distress. The oddly filed lawsuit reportedly was not filed by a lawyer, but by a woman who claims to be her civil right’s activist.
Steve and Mary were married from 1996–2005. At the time of the marriage, he was starring in the WB sitcom “The Steve Harvey Show,” which aired until 2002. The couple had a son, Wynston in 1997 and ended their marriage in 2005, citing “irreconcilable differences”. Steve has yet to respond to the lawsuit.

Mary, move on. It has been 12 years and you still harping on something you have to prove. Leave that man and his wife alone. I know you hurt that he has made it big and you feel you want a part of it, but let it go.
OK, I feel for Mary, I really do….but Mary needs professional help because the fact is SHE NEEDS TO MOVE ON. The marriage dissolved 12 years ago; life is not fair, worse has happened to people, move on.
