SZA Reveals Voice Is NOT Permanently Damaged, Performs At Firefly Music Festival
Good news, SZA fans! Looks like she’s got it covered for more than the weekend! Over the weekend, she gave fans an update on the state of her vocal ability after being removed from TDE’s Championship Tour. Her vocal damaged is indeed reparable, and not permanent as she suggested earlier this month. She commented on Twitter:
Firstly I wanna thank everyone for sending me loving kindness and extending your energy my direction .Thank u for your prayers, I feel them and deeply appreciate you I love you.

Thank u to the incredible team of Doctors and vocal technicians that have taken time to see me over the last few weeks in every city. I’m blessed to say my voice is not permanently damaged and i’ve been working daily to get back. Slowly but surely.

As promised, she was seen at the Firefly Music Festival in Dover, Delaware enjoying the company of her fans. She reminded them of her devotion with an Instagram post:
Been about Cha and I’m still about Cha #FIREFLY #TDE

Maybe SZA’s recent diagnosis and return to the stage will also encourage her to continue making music after her sophomore album.
