Amber Rose – I Received A Lot Of Backlash For Calling Gwyneth Paltrow ‘Becky w/ the Good Hair’

Amber Rose stirred up some drama for herself when she insinuated that Gwyneth Paltrow, a longtime friend of Beyonce and Jay-Z, could be the “Becky with the good hair” that Beyonce was referring to on her Lemonade album. While a guest on  Spencer and Heidi Pratt’s podcast, Make Speidi Famous Again, Amber said,

“I definitely think that Gwyneth Paltrow is ‘Becky with the good hair.’ I really feel like she’s the one who was, like, f—ing Jay Z.”

Amber went on to speculate that because you don’t see Gwyneth Paltrow around The Carters, the rumors could possibly be true.

 “They were like friends, and then, like, you don’t see Gwyneth Paltrow with Beyoncé anymore. But like Beyonce’s still with Jay.”

At the time, a rep for Paltrow called the accusations “completely absurd and 100 percent false,” adding that

“Gwyneth and Beyoncé and Jay Z are still very close friends so none of this makes any sense.”

During a recent interview, Amber admitted that her little joke caused her a bit of backlash.

“That got me in a lot of trouble! You know, sometimes — and I say this with no ego — I really forget how famous I am sometimes. Because to me, I’m just like, ‘Hey, I’m Amber from South Philly,’ like I could say what I want.”

She added,

“But yeah I said that … but I was kind of saying it as a spectator, as, like, a consumer of the whole situation. And then it was like, ‘Gwyneth Paltrow denied…’ and I was like ‘Whoa!’ I know nothing. “That was kind of me just talking shit on a podcast.”
