Kim Kardashian Urges Release of Death Row Inmate Kevin Cooper
Kim Kardashian West is continuing her fight against social injustice by urging leaders to release prisoners with egregiously long sentences. We saw KKW work her magic by having 63-year-old Alice Marie Johnson pardoned. She served over 20 years in an Alabama prison for a non-violent drug charge, and was released upon Kim’s visit with Donald Trump. And it all started with this tweet:

Kim Kardashian is now fighting for the release of Kevin Cooper – a death row inmate who has maintained that he did not murder a California family in 1983. She previously pleaded with California Governor Edmund Brown via Twitter:
“Governor Brown, can you please test the DNA of Kevin Cooper?”
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is now revisiting the idea of having Kevin pardoned. She tweeted:
“Governor Brown, please add Kevin Cooper to your legacy of smart, fair and thoughtful criminal justice reforms.”
