Kanye West Teams Up With Rick Fox To Help Rebuild Communities Devastated By Hurricane Dorian
Kanye West and Rick Fox are quite the dynamic duo. The rapper and the NBA star turned actor are now working together to help rebuild communities in the Bahamas that were negatively impacted by Hurricane Dorian recently.
Fox, who is Bahamian and Canadian, and West are working with the government in the Bahamas to help with relief efforts amid fatal devastation from the natural disaster.
They stopped by the National Emergency Management Agency Thursday (Oct. 3), according to the Bahamas Information Services. The BIS said of West and Fox,
“They met with John Michael Clarke of the reconstruction committee and Godfrey Rolle, Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ representative at NEMA.”

They also sat with Emergency Support Function members to watch Bahamian track and field sprinter Shaunae Miller-Uibo vie for the IAAF World Championship in the women’s 400. The function members had just wrapped a meeting that brought the NEMA’s National Emergency Operations Centre up-to-date on the relief efforts. Miller ended up taking home the silver medal as she set a new national record of 48.37 seconds.
Fox has been vocal about getting help to assist with rebuilding.
