Tekashi 6ix9ine Is Going Live On Instagram This Week
Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine is getting adjusted to life post-prison. He provided his fans with some exciting news today (May 5). On his Instagram, the “Fefe” revealed that he will be making his first appearance on IG Live since being released from jail. In the post, Tekashi 6ix9ine wrote,
“I’m going LIVE Friday 3:00pm EST”
We last reported that the Brooklyn born rapper was hinting at releasing new music on May 8. The rapper took to his Instagram story to tease new music (April 29).

All of the music announcements are coming amid reports that Tekashi 6ix9ine has requested permission to shoot a music video in his backyard. In the letter that Tekashi’s lawyer sent to Judge Paul A. Engelmayer, he asked if Tekashi could spend up to two hours in his backyard, once a week, for entertainment purposes. The lawyer also states that Tekashi’s probation officer is aware of the request and hasn’t denied it.
Meanwhile, Tekashi is making light of the accusations of the rapper being seen as a snitch after he testified against his fellow gang members in a federal trial last year. Tekashi 6ix9ine didn’t shy away from this accusation during his interaction with Tory Lanez. He wrote this comment during the “Quarantine Radio” session:
“Lemme play this new sh*t or ima snitch on u. You not even from America u from Canada”
