Big Sean Pleads Guilty to Misdemeanor Charge re: Sexual Misconduct

An incident this past summer (August), involving 23-year-old rapper Big Sean (real name Sean Michael Anderson) his associate (Willie Antonio Hansbroand) and a woman, has been put to rest. After a concert in Buffalo, NY, a sex abuse complaint was filed and Sean was taken into custody. Fast forward to the present day and he has taken a plea deal. Scott Leemon, Sean’s lawyer told XXL,
“I am pleased to announce that after further investigation the Niagra County District Attorney’s Office decided not to pursue any of the sexual misconduct allegations against Mr. Anderson…As a result in order to get this entire ordeal behind him Mr. Anderson agreed to plead guilty to a misdemeanor charge of unlawful imprisonment with a $750 fine. Mr. Anderson regrets any misunderstandings that occurred that day and reiterates he did not engage in any type of sexual misconduct.”
Meanwhile, Big Sean had one thing to say on Twitter Wednesday afternoon:
“What a day!”
