Whitney Houston Saved Bobbi Kristina From Drowning Just A Day Before She Drowned Herself, Friends & Family Say In Docu
The details surrounding Whitney Houston and her daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown’s deaths are still eerie years later. Whitney Houston tragically drowned at 48 in the bathtub of a Beverly Hills hotel on Feb. 11, 2012. Bobbi Kristina Brown also died after being found unresponsive in the bathtub of her Roswell, Ga. home in January 2015. She was in a coma for months before passing away on July 26, 2015. She was 22 years old.
Now, new details have emerged adding more irony to the tragedies.
An upcoming Showtime documentary, Whitney Houston & Bobbi Kristina: Didn’t We Almost Have It All, shows family and friends revealing that Whitney Houston saved Bobbi Kristina Brown from drowning in a bathtub just a day before she drowned herself.
Shawn McGill said in the documentary, according to The Daily Mail:
“The next morning Whitney is like, ‘Krissi almost died last night, Shawn and Nick [Gordon] you need to get away from that water, that water is evil.'”
Whitney Houston’s goddaughter Brandi Boyd continued:
“Whitney said that God told her to go and check on Krissy. Her mother literally was her savior. If my godmother had not walked in that bathroom the very second she did, Krissi would have died.”
Whitney Houston, unfortunately, died shortly after. The L.A. County Coroner’s office said in a toxicology report that her cause of death was:
“drowning and effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use.”
Whitney Houston & Bobbi Kristina: Didn’t We Almost Have It All premieres on Showtime Saturday, Feb. 6th.
