‘Sex & The City’ Reboot Won’t Include Mr. Big

‘Sex & The City’ Reboot Won’t Include Mr. Big
The highly-anticipated Sex & The City reboot will be missing a few major stars.
As previously reported, Kim Cattrall’s character Samantha Jones will not be returning for the revival on HBO Max called And Just Like That…
Now, new reports confirm that Mr. Big, portrayed by Chris Noth, will not be included, Page Six reported. He was Carrie Bradshaw’s (Sarah Jessica Parker) infamous love interest throughout the show’s six seasons. They ultimately tied the knot after he was MIA for their wedding in the first feature film. While they faced marital woes in the sequel, they decided to stay together. Still, now it looks like they’ve gone their separate ways.
Miranda Hobbes’ longtime love interest Steve Brady (David Eigenberg) isn’t a part of the revival either.
Lots of changes are in store for the revival, including a more diverse writers’ room. The chief content officer for HBO Max, Casey Bloys said the writers’ room for the upcoming series is much more diverse than before because the show creators,
“didn’t want to tell a story with all-white writers or an all-white cast.”
Bloys added,
“It’s not reflective of New York. So they are being very, very conscious about understanding that New York has to reflect the way New York looks today.”
What are your thoughts on Mr. Big not being in the revival? Comment and let us know.
