Taraji P. Henson Shares New Rap Name, Says People Want to Hear Her Music

After spitting a quick verse on Mary J. Blige’s “Get It Right” single, fans and critics now believe that Taraji P. Henson is trying her hand (or voice) with music. Taraji, who recently signed a record deal and is excited about her musical future, explained,
“I just signed a contract for a record deal. I did, but it has to be something special. I’m not interested in disposable music…I believe people want to hear it, so you have to give the people what they want.”
On Twitter, Taraji also announced her rap name. She tweeted:

We see you Fystee!! P.S. After hearing her official musical debut on MJB’s album, are we looking forward to more music from Taraji…or should she stick to her DAY job?
