Kandi Burruss Confirms She & Marlo Hampton Had A “Very Bad Moment” While Filming Upcoming RHOA Season: I didn’t know if we were going to come back from that

It looks like Kandi Burruss is spilling some tea about the upcoming season of The Real Housewives Of Atlanta!

While promoting her new spin off show, “Kandi & The Gang”, the RHOA vet was asked about the upcoming season and what viewers can expect. Kandi begins by revealing she was a little nervous going into the season since two major peach holders, Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Williams were going to be missing from season 14.

“It turned out way better than I thought it would. I’m going to keep it 100 and say that, coming into the new season, knowing that we were losing two of our peach-holders, I was a little nervous.”

She continued,

“I even made that known to the production company. I was like, “Yo, like, what are we doing?” But as time went on, I have to say, I got to give props to our executive producer that they brought on this year. He was definitely on our ass as far as making sure everybody was 100 percent real about their storylines, dealing with each other and not allowing us to just tiptoe through the season.”

Kandi Burruss goes on to reveal that she and Marlo Hampton got into a very bad argument while filming for the upcoming season and wasn’t sure if they would be able to bounce back as friends.

“Marlo [Hampton]—whew, chile—she needed her peach, let’s just say that. She was doing the most. We actually had a very, very bad moment this season where we bumped heads worse than we did back in season four or five.”

She continued,

“We’re in a better place right now, but when it happened, I didn’t know if we were going to come back. So it was a lot of great TV this season, let’s just say. I can’t wait for everybody to get a chance to see.”

Kandi Burruss and her family are gearing up for the premiere of their spin off show, “Kandi & The Gang” which will follow Kandi, her husband Todd Tucker and the “Old Lady Gang”(comprised of Mama Joyce, and Aunts Nora & Bertha) behind the scenes at their famed Atlanta hot spot, ‘Old Lady Gang Southern Cuisine’. It will also show the behind the scenes drama of their over-the-top and opinionated staff .

“Kandi & The Gang” Premieres this Sunday, Mar. 6 at 9pm est.
