Man Found Dead, Rick Ross Not A Suspect

Early Wednesday morning, a 40-year-old man was found dead in front of the home of Rick Ross (real name William Leonard Roberts II). The 36-year-old rapper, who lives in Miami Gardens, was not home and no official word has come from Ross’ camp. The deceased man, was found shot, inside the gate of Ross’ home. According to reports, the victim is not connected to Ross, nor is he considered a suspect. Stay tuned for details. Updated: MTV News reports:

The raper is not a suspect, nor is he being sought for questioning. Miami Gardens officers responded to a 911 call at approximately 7 a.m. ET after reports of gun shots. When police arrived at the scene of the crime they found a dead body in the yard of a house owned by the rapper, whose real name is William Roberts. Though Ross owns the property, it is not where he resides. “He lives at a different location,” Detective Michael Wright told MTV News.
