NeYo Apologizes To Fans After X (Formerly Twitter) Account Was Hacked By Crypto Scammers
Look like Ne-Yo is the latest celeb victimized by scammers.
The R&B singer took to his X account earlier today (Sunday, September 29th) to offer an apology to his fans for crypto-scam related posts uploaded to his page over the weekend.
He wrote:
“Hey everyone , i am sorry for everything that was posted on my X account in these days , account was hacked and they was trying to get money from people.”
Ne-Yo’s post comes just a few months after G-Unit founder 50 Cent was also targeted by hackers in a similar fashion.
As we reported at the time, the “Candy Shop” rapper claimed that scammers earned $3 million in under 30 minutes after falsely claiming he created a crypto-currency and then promoting it to his fans by hacking his X page.
