Cassie Ventura Gave Diddy ‘Opportunity To Settle’ Ab*se Lawsuit-Legal Analyst Suggests Diddy’s Refusal Led To His Downfall
Cassie Ventura gave her ex, Sean “Diddy” Combs, a chance to settle her bombshell r*pe and ab*se lawsuit against him, but he didn’t take it.
In the upcoming three-episode podcast series ‘The Rise and Fall of Diddy’ by Law & Crime, attorney and legal commentator Donte Mills revealed that the Bad Boy Records founder had the opportunity to avoid the start of his downfall.
According to Mills, Ventura approached Combs about the alleged crimes he committed against her after the Adult Survivors Act passed in 2022.

This Act created a one-year window for s*xual ass*ult survivors to sue their ab*sers, regardless of when the ab*se occurred, as long as the survivor was over 18. Mills explained, as reported by The Guardian.
“She came to him before she filed [any] lawsuit and said, ‘I believed I was wronged by you.'”
He added.
“And she gave him an opportunity to settle the case before she brought [a] lawsuit.”
According to Page Six, Mills went on to say that both Combs’ and Ventura’s attorneys were in discussions to try to resolve the case, but settlement negotiations ultimately fell through.
*Do you agree, was this the start of Diddy’s downfall?*
