Rising Country Star Tanner Adell Gets The Last Laugh After Being Told She’s ‘Trying Too Hard’ To Work w/ Beyoncé
28-year-old Tanner Adell is a prime example of why you can’t allow naysayers to stop you from pursuing your goals!!
The Kentucky native appears on Beyoncé’s critically acclaimed Cowboy Carter album for the track Blackbiird. Other rising country stars on the record are Tiera Kennedy, Reyna Roberts and Brittney Spencer. Last night the ladies joined Beyoncé for the first performance of the song during the multi-hyphenated artist’s live NFL Christmas Day halftime show.

Back in February, when rumors circulated that Beyoncé had plans to put out country music for the second act in her ongoing trilogy project, Tanner shot her shot for a chance to appear on the then-unreleased album. She wrote on X,
“As one of the only black girls in country music scene, i hope Bey decides to sprinkle me with a dash of her magic for a collab”

The post was met with some harsh reactions, specifically from one X user who replied back and said,
“U trying to [SIC] hard love”
Well, Tanner got the last laugh and made sure to spin the block on the troll following her performance alongside Beyoncé. Earlier today (Dec. 26) she quote replied to the comment and said,
“how bout now?”
Let this be a reminder that closed mouths don’t get fed!
