DJ Mustard Advises Drake to Focus On Music, Not Gimmicks, After Rap Defeat To Kendrick Lamar

DJ Mustard recently shared his thoughts on how Drake should respond after losing a battle to Kendrick Lamar, an artist who went on to win five Grammys and perform at the Super Bowl.

When asked by Big Boy what advice he’d give Drake, DJ Mustard emphasized the importance of focusing on good music over gimmicks.

“The tactics… the things that you do just to get attention, you don’t need to do that, just make good music & you’ll be fine,” DJ Mustard said.

His message encourages artists to let their work speak for itself, rather than relying on distractions or attention-seeking behavior.
