A$AP Rocky’s Lawyer Clashes w/ Prosecutor During Closing Arguments In A$$ault Trial
Tensions are running high in A$AP Rocky’s trial as his lawyer, Joe Tacopina, and the state prosecutors got into a heated exchange during closing arguments.
While making his final remarks, Tacopina accused A$AP Relli—Rocky’s former friend and alleged victim—of lying under oath. The prosecutor immediately objected to his language, but the judge allowed it. Things quickly escalated, and the two sides began trading sharp words in court, with the prosecutor even telling Tacopina,
“You should be [afraid of me].”
