Gayle King Jokes That ‘Getting Married’ Is Next On Her Bucket List After Trip To Space
Gayle King is thinking about love… or maybe just some new earrings.
At the TIME100 Gala on April 24, the 70-year-old “CBS Mornings” anchor was asked about what’s next on her bucket list after her recent space flight with Blue Origin. “Getting married,” she joked, then quickly followed up with, “No, piercing my ears.”
Gayle King, who was previously married to William Bumpus from 1982 to 1993, has been candid recently about the challenges of her current dating life. On the “Tamron Hall Show” last month, she revealed that while she’d consider dating apps if she wasn’t so well-known, so she settles on hoping she meets someone through mutual connections.
She’s also been clear about what she’s looking for in a partner:
“I don’t want to date somebody I could have given birth to. I don’t want to be a nurse or a purse. I would like it that they have all of their teeth. That would be nice.”
What Gayle King wants most in a partner? Someone who is supportive, confident, and comfortable in their own skin.
