UPDATE: NBA Star Zion Williamson Denies R@pe & Abu$e Allegations In New Lawsuit
Update: Zion Williamson is pushing back against serious allegations made in a new lawsuit, denying claims of r*pe and ab*se while asserting the lawsuit is motivated by money.
“We take these allegations with the utmost seriousness, and we unequivocally deny them,” Williamson’s attorney told TMZ. “The allegations contained in the complaint are categorically false and reckless. This appears to be an attempt to exploit a professional athlete driven by a financial motive rather than any legitimate grievance.”
The accuser filed the suit Thursday, alleging r*pe and “ab*sive, controlling, and threatening behavior,” along with instances of non-consensual s*x, some allegedly involving dr*gs or alcohol.
Williamson’s attorney insists the relationship was consensual and casual, beginning when he was 18. “At no point during or immediately after that relationship did the plaintiff raise any concerns. Only after the friendship ended did she begin demanding millions of dollars.”
The attorney claims the NBA star reported her for extortion, resulting in a warrant, and says Williamson will pursue counterclaims for defamation.

Reports say the 24-year-old New Orleans Pelicans player is accused of rap*ng an ex-girlfriend multiple times over the course of their years-long relationship. The suit also claims he used “abu$ive, controlling, and threatening behavior” toward both the woman and her family to keep her silent.
The alleged victim, identified in the lawsuit as Jane Doe, reportedly filed the complaint on Thursday (May 29) in Los Angeles County. Her attorneys released a statement, saying:
“We and our client do not want to litigate this case in the press… However, I will say this is a very serious case as reflected in the Complaint filed in Los Angeles County.”
Among the lawsuit’s claims are multiple instances of alleged threats and harassment, including:
“Threatening to have his paid security guard $hoot Plaintiff in the head while the security guard was present and carrying a loaded firearm multiple times in Louisiana between 2020 and 2023. Threatening to have his paid security guard k*ll Plaintiff’s parents, after informing Plaintiff that he knows their home address multiple times in Louisiana between 2020 and 2023. Monitoring Plaintiff’s location at all hours, monitoring who Plaintiff was with, calling her repeatedly… Following her home from work or sending his friends to follow her, continuously taking and going through her phone and laptop… Entering her apartment without permission and rifling through her belongings…”
As well as:
“Lying in wait at her apartment for her to return in California and Louisiana between 2020 and 2023.”
As of now, neither Zion Williamson nor his representatives have publicly responded to the lawsuit.
