Singer Nicci Gilbert Doubles Down On Tory Lanez Apology, Announces Break From Social Media

Nicci Gilbert is stepping away from social media after publicly apologizing to Tory Lanez.

In a recent Instagram post, she wrote:

“I’m taking a few weeks away from social media to fast, pray, and reset. I am very excited about what the next few weeks will bring and I can’t wait to share more.”

She added:

“In the meantime, drink water and mind the business you KNOW before you end up having to apologize publicly like I did for Tory.”

This follows her apology admitting she was quick to support Megan Thee Stallion in Tory’s 2020 shooting case before reviewing all the evidence. She said:

“I want to publicly apologize to Tory Lanez for being so vocal in my support of Megan without all the facts. This isn’t about taking sides; it’s about fairness and the truth.”

Her apology came as Tory’s team claimed they have new evidence that could clear him, though no court documents have been filed yet.
