While many fans offered support, her comments quickly filled with criticism about her not being married. Tate responded candidly, admitting that it was something she struggled with, too. Replying to one user, she wrote:
“I cried when I found out I was pregnant I, not because I didn’t want to have a baby, but because I was sad that I wasn’t married yet. God’s plan is bigger than mine & if my baby wants to be at my wedding, imma just let my baby be at my wedding!”
Tate followed up with several more tweets addressing those who were confused or judgmental about her comment, ultimately concluding:
“Nothing & no one can take [this] joy.” She added that her baby girl is already making her “such a better person.”
We’re wishing Baby Tate a happy and healthy pregnancy!
