Jay-Z Reportedly Loses $1 Million Betting OKC Thunder Would Win NBA Finals In 5 Games Against Indiana Pacers

Jay-Z Reportedly Loses $1 Million Betting OKC Thunder Would Win NBA Finals In 5 Games Against Indiana Pacers
Jay-Z reportedly just took a pricey loss betting on the NBA Finals.
According to reports, the media mogul lost a whopping $1 million after wagering that the Oklahoma City Thunder would defeat the Indiana Pacers in just 5 games.
Jay’s hopes came crashing down on Tuesday (June 11), when the Pacers pulled off a 117-106 win over the Thunder, putting Indiana up 2-1 in the series and officially dashing any chance of an OKC win in five games.

Sources note Jay may have already had beef with the Pacers for knocking his hometown team, the New York Knicks, out of the playoffs during the Eastern Conference Finals. So while his bet was likely a mix of confidence in OKC, who held the league’s best record this season at 68-14, it just wasn’t enough to make his dream payoff come true. Had he been right, Jay reportedly would’ve walked away with a $3.3 million payout.
The Pacers and Thunder are set to face off again for Game 4 this Friday (June 13).
Would you have bet on OKC winning it all in 5?
