‘Living Single’ Star Erika Alexander Says Black Women Should File A ‘Class Action’ Over Lack Of Investment Opportunities
Living Single stars Erika Alexander and Kim Coles recently discussed the challenges Black women face in entrepreneurship on their new podcast, ReLiving Single.
While expressing frustration over the lack of investment in Black women entrepreneurs, who Erika pointed out receive less than 0.06% of venture capital funding, the actress voiced a bold opinion, saying:
“That right there is a class action suit as far as I’m concerned.” ?
The two also highlighted the importance of sharing knowledge within the community about how to find and secure the limited resources that do exist, stressing the urgent need for systemic change.
