Chris Brown Reportedly Settles w/ Man Who Accused Singer Of Hitting Him In The Head w/ Bottle During Nightclub Brawl
Lady Luck seems to be by Chris Brown’s side, once again.
TMZ reports that the man who accused CB of whacking him in the head with a bottle of Don Julio 1942 at TAPE nightclub in London has asked the L.A. County judge to dismiss the suit. It’s highly speculated that the men settled; however, the terms of the deal are unknown at this time. The alleged victim, Abe Diaw, wants the case dismissed with prejudice, meaning he can’t refile in the future.
As reported, Diaw claimed he was attacked by Chris back in 2023. During the incident, Chris allegedly struck him in the head three times with the tequila bottle, then continued to “ruthlessly stomp” on Diaw while he was unconscious on the floor.

While the judge is expected to sign off on dropping the lawsuit, CB’s legal team still has to fight the criminal case stemming from the ordeal. He was charged with assault and possession of a weapon and was arrested in May shortly after landing in the UK for his tour. The 36-year-old, however, was eventually released on a $6.7 million bond ahead of the tour start date.
