Diddy’s Legal Team Slams Bail Denial, Argues He’s ‘No Monster’ & Accuses Prosecutors Of Exaggerating The Case
Diddy’s legal team is pushing back hard after his bail was denied, insisting in a six-page letter to Judge Arun Subramanian that “he ain’t no monster.”
His lawyers argue prosecutors exaggerated the case and distorted legal definitions to keep him behind bars.
They point out that although Combs was convicted on two pro$titution-related charges, he was cleared of more serious racketeering and s*x trafficking counts.
The defense emphasized these charges involved consenting adults and would not even be prosecuted in jurisdictions like Manhattan or Los Angeles.
They also challenge the claim that Combs committed “crimes of violence,” arguing federal law only supports that label when minors are involved — which isn’t relevant here.
Addressing the 2016 hotel video showing Combs attacking Cassie Ventura, his team said it’s unrelated to the case and meant to stir emotion rather than present legal facts.
Is the defense speaking facts?
