Master P Opens Up About Grieving Daughter Tytyana While Reconciling w/ Son Romeo: ‘I Also Have To Be A Communicator’
Master P is still learning the ropes of fatherhood—even with adult children.
“There’s no perfect parent,” he told PEOPLE, adding, “I also have to be a better communicator with my kids.”
In the wake of daughter Tytyana’s 2022 fentanyl overdose, Master P founded the You Are Not Alone Foundation.
“You never get over that,” he said. “I’ve been her parachute her whole life.”
He and Romeo Miller reconciled after a brief public fallout, and the bond is now stronger.
“I learned a lot from my son and we learned a lot from each other,” he shared. “The main word is communication.”
Now, the rapper-turned-coach is focused on breaking generational cycles.
“Mental illness is real,” he said. “When you’re poor, you just got to deal with it… but I want to change that.”
