Multiple reports state that Rashee, 25, has been sentenced to 30 days in jail and five years of probation following the incident. He’s also expected to face a “multi-game suspension” from the NFL. As previously reported, authorities say Rashee and another driver lost control while speeding down North Central Expressway. The football player was driving his Lamborghini, while the other driver was in a Corvette, leading to a crash that injured at least two people. Rashee reportedly fled the scene immediately after.
After turning himself in, he issued a statement on social media, writing:
“I take full responsibility for my part in this matter and will continue to cooperate with the necessary authorities. I sincerely apologize to everyone impacted in Saturday’s accident.”
