NFL Player Rashee Rice Sentenced To 30 Days In Jail & 5 Years Probation For Involvement In Serious Multi-Car Accident
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice will serve jail time for his involvement in a serious car accident that took place in Dallas last year.
Multiple reports state that Rashee, 25, has been sentenced to 30 days in jail and five years of probation following the incident. He’s also expected to face a “multi-game suspension” from the NFL. A team spokesperson told PEOPLE they are “aware” of the reports but declined further comment due to the matter’s ongoing legal status.

As previously reported, authorities say Rashee and another driver lost control while speeding down North Central Expressway. The football player was driving his Lamborghini, while the other driver was in a Corvette, leading to a crash that injured at least two people. Rashee reportedly fled the scene immediately after.
After turning himself in, he issued a statement on social media, writing:
“I take full responsibility for my part in this matter and will continue to cooperate with the necessary authorities. I sincerely apologize to everyone impacted in Saturday’s accident.”
What are your thoughts on Rashee’s sentence in this case?
