Ozzy Osbourne Passes Away At 76 Following Battle w/ Parkinson’s Disease
The Godfather of Heavy Metal, Ozzy Osbourne, has passed away following a years-long struggle with Parkinson’s disease.
Ozzy’s family confirmed the unfortunate news in a statement, expressing:
“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family’s privacy at this time.”

He was 76 at the time of his passing. Last year, the Osbournes revealed that Ozzy’s declining health kept derailing their move back to England. However, they did eventually make it home. Two weeks ago, Ozzy took the stage alongside his band, Black Sabbath, for a final concert at a festival in their hometown of Birmingham, England.
