Diddy’s Request For Bail Slammed By Prosecutors, Claim He’s A Danger To The Community As They Seek Substantial Prison Time
Federal prosecutors are opposing Diddy’s latest request for bail. In a court filing, they called him a danger to the community and urged the judge to keep him in custody ahead of his October 3 sentencing. They cited his access to private planes, international connections, history of violence, and allegations of witness intimidation.
Diddy was acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy charges. However, he was convicted on two counts of violating the Mann Act for transporting individuals across state lines for prostitution.
Prosecutors said the evidence showed a pattern of abuse, manipulation, and violence that went beyond the charges. They now expect sentencing guidelines to recommend 51 to 63 months in prison and plan to seek a substantial sentence.
Diddy’s legal team claims he is not a flight risk or a threat. They have requested his release on a $50 million bond with home confinement in Miami. The judge has not ruled on the request.
*Do you think Diddy will be released on bail?*
