Diddy’s Ex Gina Huynh, Identified As Victim No. 3 In His Federal Indictment, Pens Letter Of Support For Mogul To Be Released On Bail
Diddy’s girlfriend Gina Huynh is supporting is ongoing attempt to get out of the jail.
Diddy, who was acquitted on racketeering and $ex trafficking charges but convicted for prostitution-related charges, is being held in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center after previously being denied bail.
His lawyers recently filed another motion arguing for his release, and his ex is trying to help his case.
Huynh, who was identified as Victim No. 3 in prosecutors’ federal indictment (and was a no-show for the trial after being subpoenaed by the government) has written a letter supporting his release.
She said in court documents obtained by multiple outlets that she knows Diddy to be a father and businessman, but doesn’t see him as a criminal.
She alleged that during their relationship, when Diddy made mistakes he would own up to them and change his ways.
She added that when they ended things, he:
“embodied an energy of love, patience and gentleness that was markedly different from his past behavior.”
Diddy and Huynh reportedly dated off and on before ending things in 2019. That year, she told Tasha K that Diddy “was mentally, emotionally and physically abusing me.” She later appeared to suggest they reunited in 2022, when he was romantically linked to Yung Miami.
While prosecutors argued that Diddy shouldn’t be released as he’s violent and a danger to the public, Huynh insisted in her letter that Diddy:
“has not been violent for many years, and he has been committed to being a father first.”
She told the judge that Diddy should be released to be there for his children, who rely on him for support, and she believes that if he is released he’ll follow the terms.
Diddy has been in jail since his arrest last September. He is scheduled to be sentenced on Oct. 3.
