Deion Sanders’ Son Shilo Waived By Tampa Bay Buccaneers After Throwing Punch During Preseason Game
Shilo Sanders has been waived by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, just months after signing with the team as an undrafted rookie.
The 24-year-old safety, son of NFL legend Deion Sanders, was released on Sunday (Aug. 25), just one day after being ejected from a preseason game against the Buffalo Bills. The ejection came after Shilo threw a punch at tight end Zach Davidson, following a rough block during a play.

While no one from the Sanders family has publicly commented on Shilo’s release, Deion did share a post shortly after the news broke, offering a prayer for his children.
Meanwhile, a clip of the incident between Shilo and Zach Davidson has been making rounds online, with many criticizing the ejection and arguing that Shilo wouldn’t be facing such harsh consequences if he weren’t a Sanders, or Black.
Despite the setback, his agents say they remain hopeful another team will claim him off waivers.
What are your thoughts on Tampa Bay waiving Shilo?
