According to The Athletic, the outspoken sports personality is now earning close to $40 million annually.
His new five-year contract with ESPN is worth $105 million, making him one of the highest-paid talents in sports media.
On top of that, Smith also signed a three-year, $36 million deal with SiriusXM to continue hosting his daily show, The Stephen A. Smith Show. When factoring in revenue from his successful YouTube channel and podcast, Smith’s yearly income rivals that of star athletes and entertainers. Known for his larger-than-life takes and unmatched work ethic, Smith has positioned himself as more than just a broadcaster — he’s a media mogul in the making.
With his influence spanning TV, radio, digital, and social platforms, the First Take co-host is setting a new precedent for what’s possible in modern sports media.
