Kai, who was just 21 years old when the lucrative offer came, shared with #KirkFranklin “Not all money is good money.” He expressed concerns that accepting the offer would divert his focus from his current endeavors and compromise his values.
“I knew it would mess me up,” he admitted, emphasizing that he didn’t want to jeopardize his vision for short-term gain. He went on to add, “I don’t want all the money in the world. I don’t care to have all the money.” After turning down the offer, Kai said he prayed for guidance and has continued to work diligently.
