Boseman, who passed away in August 2020 at the age of 43, d!ed following a private four-year battle with colon cancer. His de@th shocked fans and colleagues alike, as the actor had continued to work through his illness, completing several major films without publicly revealing his diagnosis.
Throughout his career, #Boseman became known for portraying iconic figures and complex heroes, from Jackie Robinson in 42 and James Brown in Get On Up, to Thurgood Marshall in Marshall. He is perhaps best remembered for his role as King T’Challa in Marvel’s #BlackPanther, which cemented his place in history as a symbol of strength, pride, and representation.
