End Of An Era: Steph Curry Parts Ways w/ Under Armour After More Than A Decade Of Producing His Signature Sneaker
Stephen Curry is closing a major chapter in his career as he parts ways with Under Armour after more than ten years together. The company confirmed the split in a news release, noting that the Curry 13 will debut in February 2026, with more colorways and apparel arriving through October 2026. Curry Brand will continue to operate independently, which means Curry is free to sign with another retailer. ESPN’s Shams Charania reported that he is expected to wear other brands over the next year.
“Under Armour believed in me early in my career and gave me the space to build something much bigger and more impactful than a shoe,” Curry said. “I’ll always be grateful for that.”
He added, “Curry Brand was created to change the game for good and over the past 5 years, we successfully changed the game for kids, for communities, and for basketball.”
Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank praised Curry’s leadership, calling it “an incredible privilege to work with Stephen.”
