Mother Case
More information has surfaced surrounding Savannah Guthrie’s missing mother.
In a dramatic turn in the disappearance of TODAY show anchor #SavannahGuthrie’s 84-year-old mother, Nancy Guthrie, a report has circulated that her brother-in-law, Tommaso Cioni, “is the prime suspect in this case,” according to journalist Ashleigh Banfield. Banfield’s reporting, which allegedly is backed by a law enforcement source, says Cioni, who is married to Savannah’s sister Annie, was among the last known people to see Nancy before she went missing, and that detectives have reportedly seized a vehicle connected to him and his wife. Banfield continued, “I can tell you that [Nancy] had cameras, plural, at this home, and they were smashed.”
And added, “Again, my law enforcement source tells me that Nancy Guthrie’s son-in-law, married to Annie Guthrie, Savannah’s sister, is maybe, maybe a prime suspect.” Authorities believe Nancy was taken from her home sometime late Saturday. Family became worried when she failed to show up for her usual Sunday church service, and the Pima County Sheriff’s Office, alongside the FBI, is actively investigating.
