Baltimore Artist Poppa Fetti Hit w/ Federal Charges For Allegedly S*x Tr*fficking Two Minor Victims

A Baltimore hip-hop artist is now facing serious federal charges just months after being hit with multiple state-level felonies.

Deion “Poppa Fetti” Philip, 33, was indicted Monday by a federal grand jury on child s*x tr*fficking charges, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland. The new indictment comes three months after he was charged in Baltimore County with nine state s*x tr*fficking felonies.

Federal prosecutors allege Philip trafficked two minor victims for commercial s*x. According to authorities, one victim was tr*fficked for several weeks in 2025, while another was allegedly tr*fficked between October and November 2025. He is charged with two counts of s*x tr*fficking of a child and one count of transporting a minor.

If convicted, Philip faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years and up to life in federal prison on each s*x tr*fficking count. Federal officials said the case is part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative aimed at combating child s*xual exploitation.

The federal case follows a November 2025 indictment in Baltimore County Circuit Court, where Philip was charged with nine felony counts after two missing girls were recovered during a joint investigation involving Maryland State Police, Baltimore County Police and federal agents.
