50 Cent Says There’s No Beef With NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani, Just Wants Him To ‘Stay Away From The Taxes’
#50Cent is shutting down any notion of tension between him and New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani.
The response follows Mamdani’s appearance on Complex’s 360 With Jillian series, where he named the media mogul one of his dream dinner-party guests despite their public disagreement over taxing the wealthy. Posting on Instagram on Thursday (July 2), 50 brushed off the idea of a feud, saying, “We don’t have beef, I just think some of these ideas are radical.” He also urged Mamdani to turn his attention to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s upcoming MSG wedding instead of mentioning him during interviews, adding, “Stay away from the taxes.” In the segment that sparked 50’s response, #Mamdani had called their dynamic “a one-sided beef”, acknowledging they’ll likely never agree on tax policy but insisting he’ll always “appreciate the song ‘Many Men’” regardless.
