Following Abuse Allegations

#FoodNetwork personality Eric Adjepong has been ordered to stay away from his daughter, Lennox, for one year following allegations that he abu$ed her.

According to TMZ, Court proceedings began in May, and a final hearing on July 10 resulted in an order barring Eric from contact with Lennox — as well as from her home, school, and childcare providers — through July 10, 2027; he shares the 2018-born child with his ex-wife, Janell Mack. No criminal charges have been filed, and the specific nature of the alleged abu$e hasn’t been disclosed. Janell’s attorney told the outlet, “I believe the court did its job to protect the best interest of the child.”

Through his attorney, Eric said he intends to protect his daughter’s privacy and won’t discuss the underlying allegations, noting only that they “arose in the context of a long running divorce and custody proceeding,” which concluded on June 2. He added that he’s complying fully with the order and hopes he and Janell can eventually resolve things privately rather than through the media. Janell, meanwhile, wrote on social media that her daughter “was just granted a protective order against her father because she was brave enough to speak up,” and said she’s spent the years since their 2021 split teaching her daughter about consent and body autonomy.
