Paul Wall Says His Wife ‘Basically Made Me Cuss’ After Years Of Keeping His Music Clean

Paul Wall is clearing up his approach to profanity after a fan expressed surprise over how little cursing appears in his music.

A Threads user wrote, “Paul Wall said he never cussed in his songs and I’ve never even noticed that!”

The Houston rapper responded directly, explaining that his language changed after marriage and has continued evolving.

“Naw to clarify I diddnt cuss at ALL- until I met my wife, and then she basically made me cuss lol. But still it wasn’t too much. I went through an era where I cussed more than usual, but now lately I’ve been cleaning it up. Ever since I saw CJ Stroud say he was gonna stop cussing it motivated me to stop (or at least cut back a LOT).”
