[Update] Takeoff’s Mom May Call Quavo & Offset To Testify As She Fights His Dad Over Wrongful D*ath Settlement

Quavo and Offset may have to speak up in court as Takeoff’s parents battle over money from a settlement tied to his d*ath.

According to TMZ, Takeoff’s mother, Titania Davenport, has named the rappers as potential witnesses in her dispute with his father, Kenneth Ball. The former couple is at odds over how much Ball should receive from the settlement.

Davenport wants the matter handled in Georgia rather than Texas. She says the relevant witnesses, including Quavo and Offset, live in the Atlanta and Athens areas. Having the proceedings in Houston, she argues, would mean additional travel expenses for everyone called to testify.

The settlement stems from Davenport’s lawsuit against the Texas bowling alley where Takeoff was f@tally sh*t. Now, the disagreement centers on how the money should be split.

In her filings, Davenport says she and Takeoff shared an extremely close relationship and that she essentially raised him as a single mother. She also says the rapper covered her bills and provided financial support she depended on.

However, Davenport claims Ball is seeking a sizable share despite allegedly being largely absent from their son’s life. She alleges he “provided negligible financial support and effectively no emotional support” throughout Takeoff’s childhood.

Takeoff was 28 when he d*ed on November 1, 2022. Patrick Xavier Clark is charged with his m*rder.

Neither Quavo nor Offset is confirmed to testify. For now, Davenport’s filings identify them as possible witnesses as she pushes to have the family’s dispute heard in Georgia.
