[Photos] Family & Friends Mourn Chris Kelly, Attend Rapper’s Wake in Atlanta

On Wednesday, close family and friends attended the wake of 34-year-old Chris Kelly. 

The wake took place at Murray Brothers Funeral Home. Lemar Williams, an uncle of former Kris Kross member was among the mourners at the funeral home, and told the AJC that his nephew was a good person who loved his family and was very devoted to his mother and grandmother.

He will be very missed, especially within our family.To the world he was Kris Kross, but to us he was just Chris.

TMZ reports that mourners were greeted with an instrumental version of “Jump” and that the open-casket event lasted all day long, while final preparations were made for todays public funeral. On the night of Chris’ funeral, Jermaine Dupri took to Instagram, reminiscing with photos of Chris, during his Kriss Kross days.
